In the city, noise surrounds; in certain spaces, however, there are pockets of relative calm. It is the juxtaposition of these two realities which the 渋谷 series seeks to manifest.

Using original field recordings as the source material, the 渋谷 series takes this source material and digitally tortures it in a manner that brings about the true sense of being human in such areas filled with products, distractions, and attention diverting ways of being that are omnipresent.

There is a clear texture and transversal of human-space within the harshness.

In the same manner as there is no longer an author, so too is there no longer a producer. The difficultly of the composition can be untangled by the listener. It guides you, however, we promise.
